Enrico Iviglia, tenor

Born in Asti, he graduated from the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Turin with the highest marks under Silvana Moyso and continued his studies with Master Sherman Lowe and currently is perfected in Barcelona with the tenor Raul Gimenez.

Winner of many national and international competitions as the Academy of the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro for the role of  Cavalier Belfiore in Il Viaggio a Reims staged in summer 2005 at the Rossini Opera Festival and later taken to Jerevan (Armenia) in October 2005 under the direction of Maestro Alberto Zedda. In September of the same year he won the  First International Competition F.Alfano organized by the Sanremo Simphony Orchestra for the role of Conte d’Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia (the final concert of the contest was broadcast on RaiUno Italian Channel). In March 2006 he won the 60th competition for young opera singers held at the Teatro lirico sperimentale of  Spoleto A. Belli chaired by the celebrated soprano R.Kabaivanska.

He san at Teatro alla Scala Viaggio a Reims (Luigino) and L’Italiana in Algeri (Lindoro) as well as Rejoice in the Lamb Op. 30  by B. Britten; Lucrezia Borgia and La Traviata (Gastone) at Teatro Regio in Torino, Theatre Bunkakaikan of Tokyo and Theatre in Wiesbaden; I Capuleti e i Montecchi (Tebaldo) at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa; Finta Giardiniera (Il Podestà) at the Teatro Comunale in Florence; L’Italiana in Algeri at the Teatro Comunale of Bologna; L’Occasione fa il ladro at Teatro Malibran in Venice; Il Mondo della Luna by Paisiello (Ecclitico) at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste; The Dirindina by Scarlatti at the Teatro Caio Melisso in Spoleto, Otello by Rossini (Rodrigo) at Opéra Saint Moritz; Cenerentola (Ramiro) at the Teatro Nuovo di Spoleto and Tours; L’Elisir d’Amore (Nemorino) at the Teatro Nuovo di Spoleto and Umbria tour and Teatro La Fenice in Venezia; Il Viaggio a Reims (Libenskof) at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Piacenza, Lugo, Busseto and Asti, Il Matrimonio segreto (Paolino) in Spoleto; La cambiale di Matrimonio (Edoardo Milfort) at Ingolstad, Lo Speziale (Sempronio) Haydn in Ginevra, etc.

He sang at the Rossini Opera Festival 2007, Otello by Rossini (Lucio and Gondoliero), and Maometto II di Rossini (Condulmiero) in 2008, and has been involved in the first tour in Japan with the ROF with Otello, Maometto II, and  Le nozze di Teti e di Peleo (Giove).

He performs an intense concerts that has seen him involved in The Messiah by Handel and Mass in B min by Bach or the Jephte of G. Carissimi. He was directed by many Conductors including Abbado, Onofri, Bressan, Campanella, Dantone, Kuhn, Mazzola, Noseda, Palumbo, Renzetti, Zedda, and directors as Carsen, Del Monaco, Hampe, Juri, Landi, Morassi , Ronconi, Sagi or Pressburger.
