Marina will share the stage with Javier Perianes, who will play <em>Noches en los Jardines de Espa\u00f1a<\/em>, to complete, together with Chabrier&#8217;s <em>Espa\u00f1a<\/em>, a very Spanish evening that, in fact, is entitled <em>A Night in Spain<\/em>. Marina will repeat the experience later, in 2026, again with Rafael Payare but this time with the <a href=\"https:\/\/philorch.ensembleartsphilly.org\/tickets-and-events\/2025-26-season\/tchaikovskys-violin-concerto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Philadelphia Orchestra<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Quevedo - Amarg\u00f3s: En libertad - M. Heredia - Bolita - P. Gonz\u00e1lez - Jos\u00e9 Trigueros - OSG\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BfqpiZjcyOI?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marina was in the United States as recently as this past March to participate in the New York Flamenco Festival, and previous visits include the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and St Luke&#8217;s in New York, always with <em>El Amor Brujo<\/em> and conducted by Pablo Heras-Casado. Her most recent performance was very special because, in addition to taking place at the Palace of Charles V in the Alhambra as part of the 1st Granada Flamenco Biennial, it was a double presentation as she sang <strong><em>En Libertad! El camino de los gitanos<\/em><\/strong>, presenting his latest album, with this work as the centrepiece, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orquestaciudadgranada.es\/concierto\/i-bienal-de-flamenco-de-granada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">City of Granada Orchestra<\/a> conducted by Jos\u00e9 Trigueros, and with Jos\u00e9 Quevedo \u201cBolita\u201d on guitar and Paquito Gonz\u00e1lez on percussion. This work, composed jointly by Joan Albert Amarg\u00f3s and Jos\u00e9 Quevedo, was commissioned by the <a href=\"https:\/\/acmconcerts.com\/en\/marina-heredia-world-premiere-with-the-duisburg-philharmonic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra<\/a>, with which it premiered on 28 and 29 June 2023 with Amarg\u00f3s himself conducting. It had its Spanish premiere in A Coru\u00f1a on 24 and 25 May 2024 with the <a href=\"https:\/\/acmconcerts.com\/marina-heredia-estreno-espanol-de-en-libertad-con-la-osg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Galicia Symphony Orchestra<\/a>, and this season it is also scheduled to be performed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oscyl.com\/evento\/programa-9-temporada-25-26-oscyl-turno-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Castile and Le\u00f3n Symphony Orchestra<\/a> in January 2026, in both cases also conducted by Maestro Trigueros.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11025\" src=\"https:\/\/acmconcerts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/marina_heredia_festival_martha_argerich-scaled-e1656095645743-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"Marina Heredia at the New York Flamenco Festival\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marina Heredia is undoubtedly the most sought-after international singer for this repertoire. In recent seasons, she has performed at the Konzerthaus and Philharmonie in Berlin with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra; the Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin, the Laieszhalle at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Lausitz Festival in G\u00f6rlitz, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the New York Flamenco Festival and the Cartagena Festival. She has sung with orchestras of the stature of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, the Orchestre National de Lille, the Orquestra Sinf\u00f4nica da Casa da M\u00fasica do Porto, the Rouen Opera and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, with which she recorded El Amor Brujo under the baton of Pablo Heras-Casado, and in La Fura del Baus&#8217; production for the Granada Festival under the baton of Manuel Hern\u00e1ndez -Silva, as well as with the Castile and Le\u00f3n Symphony Orchestra and Thierry Fischer, the Galicia Symphony Orchestra and Jos\u00e9 Trigueros, the Navarra Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Perry So, the RTVE Symphony Orchestra, again conducted by Hern\u00e1ndez-Silva, the Murcia Region Symphony Orchestra with Roberto For\u00e9s, and the North Macedonia Philharmonic Orchestra with Christian V\u00e1squez.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marina Heredia returns to the United States to sing Manuel de Falla&#8217;s El Amor Brujo, alongside the San Diego Symphony and Rafael Payare, on 8 October at 7:30 p.m. on the spectacular stage of the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.
