The program consists of <em>Guasamacabra,<\/em> by the recently and prematurely disappeared Paul Desenne, <em>Three Symphonic Versions,<\/em> by Juli\u00e1n Orb\u00f3n, and the <em>Symphony No. 10 in E minor<\/em> Op.93, by Dmitri Shostakovich.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"The Rite of Spring - Turku Philharmonic Orchestra\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IEdtQgDPl3w?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Christian has just conducted the <a href=\"https:\/\/acmconcerts.com\/christian-vasquez-regresa-a-la-orchestre-pasdeloup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Orchestre Pasdeloup<\/a> in Paris, the oldest active orchestra in France, and will now have an important presence in Spain leading orchestras such as the Galician Symphony Orchestra, the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, where, among other works, he will conduct the premieres of the <em>Clarinet Concerto<\/em> by Pacho Flores with Juan Ferrer, the dedicatee of the work, as soloist, or the concert for Venezuelan <em>cuatro<\/em> by Leo Rond\u00f3n, with the composer himself as soloist.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5277\" src=\"https:\/\/acmconcerts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/christian_vasquez_2_wolf_marloh-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"Christian V\u00e1squez at the Op\u00e9ra de Paris and the Pasdeloup Orchestra\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Christian V\u00e1squez was Music Director of the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra between 2013 and 2019, Principal Guest Conductor of the Het Gelders Orkest in the Netherlands from 2015 to 2020, and of the G\u00e4vle Symphony Orchestra between 2010 and 2013.
