This is the first of the two concerts that Hern\u00e1ndez-Silva will conduct this season at the Buenos Aires Philharmonic, where he will return again on July 1 to perform Mozart&#8217;s <em>Sinfon\u00eda Concertante for Viola and Violin<\/em>, <em>Diarios VI<\/em>, by Gerardo Gandini, and <em>Redes<\/em>, by Silvestre Revueltas.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Manuel Herna\u0301ndez Silva - Teatro Colo\u0301n - Filarmo\u0301nica de Buenos Aires - Schumann - Sinfoni\u0301a n\u00ba 2\" width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/O22MqKThhl0?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hern\u00e1ndez-Silva has recently conducted the Norwegian <a href=\"https:\/\/acmconcerts.com\/en\/hernandez-silva-flores-and-rondon-with-the-arctic-philharmonic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arctic Philharmonic Orchestra<\/a>, the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, all of them with several premieres, such as the trumpet concertos by Roberto Sierra and Daniel Freiberg, the <em>Boceto Sinf\u00f3nico<\/em> by Manuel Moreno Buend\u00eda, <em>Musas y Resuello<\/em> and <em>Cantos y Revueltas<\/em> by Pacho Flores, <em>L\u00e1grimas de Tahuar\u00ed<\/em>\u00a0by Gabriel Sivak, or <em>Rapsodia Latina<\/em>\u00a0by Gonzalo Grau, along with other repertoire works by Tchaikovsky, Bernstein, Ginastera, Ravel, Saint-Sa\u00ebns or Piazzolla. After this concert in Argentina, Hern\u00e1ndez-Silva will return to Spain for a two-week stay with the Galician Symphony Orchestra, with which, together with works by Kalinnikov and Tchaikovsky, he will again premiere new pieces such as <em>Altar de Bronce<\/em>, the trumpet concerto that Gabriela Ortiz has written for Pacho Flores as a shared commission between the Galician Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Orquesta de Miner\u00eda in Mexico, the New World Symphony and the San Diego Symphony orchestras.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7675\" style=\"width: 670px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7675\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7675\" src=\"https:\/\/acmconcerts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/manuel_hernandez_silva_fiilarmonica_buenos_aires.jpg\" alt=\"Hern\u00e1ndez-Silva opens the season of the Buenos Aires Philharmonic\" width=\"660\" height=\"408\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-7675\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9 Prensa Teatro Colon \/ Arnaldo Colombaroli<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Galicia, the first week includes the workshop of the Galician Youth Symphony Orchestra, a task of particular interest to Hern\u00e1ndez-Silva, who was Music and Artistic Director of the Andalusian Youth Orchestra and has recently conducted the Orchestra of Musikene (Higher\u00a0School\u00a0of Music of the\u00a0Basque Country).
