Paul Armin Edelmann’s association with music began at an early age as the second son of the internationally renowned singer Otto Edelmann. As a child, he was a member and soloist of the famous Vienna Boys\u2019 Choir. Later on he reinforced his musical studies by studying voice with his father at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Shortly after completing his studies he became a member of the Opera Theatre in Koblenz in Germany, where he sang over 30 roles.<\/span><\/p>\n In 1998, Mr.Edelmann went freelance and moved back to Vienna. Since then he has sung at: the Vienna State Opera, Vienna Volksoper, Theater an der Wien, Teatro Real Madrid, Komische Oper Berlin, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Royal de la Monnaie Brussels, San Diego Opera, New National Theatre in Tokyo, Op\u00e9ra de Rouen, Lincoln Center Festival New York, the state theatres in Darmstadt and Wiesbaden, the opera houses in Cologne, Frankfurt, Leipzig and D\u00fcsseldorf, Opera Ireland Dublin and the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, as well as the Palau de les Arts Valencia, the San Sebastian Festival, Hongkong Opera, Center of the Performing Arts Beijing, Opera National de Montpellier, Czech National Theatre Prague, Prinzregentheater Munich, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Teatro de la Maestranza Sevilla, Teatro Massimo Catania, Opera National du Rhin Strasbourg, Palacio de Bellas Artes Mexico City,\u00a0 the Bregenz Festival, Theatro Municipal Rio de Janeiro and the Opera National de Paris.<\/span><\/p>\n 2014 \u2013 2016 Edelmann\u00b4s albums Schumann- Selected Songs<\/em> and Die sch\u00f6ne Magelone<\/em> with pianist Charles Spencer, the album Max Reger- Orchestral Songs<\/em> with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland Pfalz and his Schubert Album<\/em> (2018) has been released on the label Naxos\/Capriccio.<\/span><\/p>\n During the upcoming seasons Edelmann will perform in the Theater an der Wien, Wigmore Hall London, Grand Theatre de Geneve, Opera Cologne, New National Theatre Tokyo, Misikkitalo Helsinki and will make his debuts with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal in New York and Montreal.<\/span><\/p>\n Paul has previously given concerts and recitals in many notable venues including the Vienna Konzerthaus, Vienna Musikverein, Festival Hall in Salzburg, in several concerts with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra contucted by Manfred Honeck in the Heinz Hall Pittsburgh, Berwaldhallen Stockholm, Bronfman Auditorium Tel Aviv, Philhamonic Hall Warsaw,\u00a0 Brucknerhaus Linz, Salzburg Mozarteum, Philharmonie Berlin, Cologne Philharmonie, Philharmonie am Gasteig Munich, Konzerthaus Dortmund, Victoria Hall Geneve, Leiszhalle Hamburg, KKL Lucerne, Tonhalle Z\u00fcrich, Rudolfinum Prague, Koncerthuset Copenhagen, Winter Music Festival Sochi, Kurhaus Wiesbaden, Philharmonic Hall Luxembourg, Auditorio Alfredo Kraus Las Palmas, Palau de la M\u00fasica in Valencia, Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, the Vatican in a concert honouring Pope John Paul II (Haydn\u2019s The Creation) in 1998 and again in 2006 with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra (Mozart’s Coronation Mass).<\/span><\/p>\n Mr. Edelmann has given recitals in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Denmark, the USA, Canada, China and Japan, often also together with his baritone-brother Peter Edelmann.<\/span><\/p>\n He has worked with such well-known conductors as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Lorin Maazel, Michel Plasson, Ivor Bolton, Paolo Carignani, Kazushi Ono, Miguel G\u00f3mez Mart\u00ednez, Julia Jones, Ralf Weikert, Karel Mark Chichon, Jeffrey Tate, Vladimir Fedosejew, Leopold Hager & Manfred Honeck.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.27.4″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]Descargar BIO PDF<\/a>
